The Town

Steamboat Springs is an internationally know winter ski resort destination located in northern Colorado’s Yampa Valley. It’s home to  the Steamboat ski resort which has 6 peaks including Mount Werner. The city’s geothermal hot springs are said to have therapeutic properties. Near the city center, the long-standing Old Town Hot Springs is equipped with swimming and soaking pools, plus water slides. The town has a genuine western feel and is home to world class rodeo’s in the summer months. 

The towns complimentary bus system makes it easy to get around. Steamboat boast more than 100 restaurants, a quaint Main Street filled with retail shops, art galleries and coffee shops. 

Activities such as nordic skiing, snowmobiling and snowshoeing are readily available. 

Steamboat is a great ski area for all skill levels. It has 2,965 total acres  of skiable terrain with a summit elevations of 10,568 feet.
