Europe is a mixture of climates, landscapes, cultures, languages, and architecture. There are historic sights around every corner from Roman ruins to Swiss castles; there is something for every interest. Traveling between countries is easy and can be accomplished via car, train, or plane. There are also many rivers and ocean cruises that will give you a good sampling of several destinations in one trip. Find a quaint family-owned cafe and dine with the locals; it’s a great way to experience the area and soak up the culture.

Majestic Mountainscapes
Austria is a land of great beauty with the Alps mountain range towering over small villages, castles dotting the countryside and the second largest European river, the Danube, flowing through it. Austria offers a variety of winter and summer sports, world-famous museums, and incredible cuisine.
Dramatic Landmarks
France is home to world-renowned vineyards, historical museums, inspirational landmarks, and beautiful palaces. No trip to France is complete without a stop in Paris with its extraordinary shopping, magical cathedrals, and cozy sidewalk café’s. Take a boat ride down the Seine for a beautiful view of the Eiffel Tower, hop a train and visit the Palace of Versailles or grab a tour and head out to Normandy.
Oktoberfest Anyone?
Germany is filled with vibrant cities, medieval castles, hearty German food, and world-famous beer tents. If you can’t make it to the annual October-fest celebration, be sure to stop by the Hofbräuhaus in Munich. The Black Forest is known for its hidden villages, an array of wineries and old world monasteries. No trip to the Black Forest is complete without a piece of Black Forest cake!
The Emerald Isle
Ireland is filled with interesting places to visit and incredibly friendly people. The green lush landscapes, vibrant cities, and rowdy pubs are sure to make a trip to this country memorable. No trip to Ireland is complete without a stop at the Blarney Castle and a quick kiss of the blarney stone…if you dare.
Ancient Ruins, Fabulous Food
Rome, the capital of Italy, is home to the Vatican, historical art, and ancient ruins. The landscape features cathedrals and basilica that are magnificent. Lake Como is famous for its pristine waters and fabulous villas, Venice, for its high-end shopping and canal gondola rides, and Tuscany for its vineyards.

Viking Heritage
Scandinavia is made up of five countries: Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway, and Sweden. Cruises are a popular way to see this part of Europe where you can explore crystal-clear fjords, dramatic mountain peaks, and phenomena such as the Northern Lights and the midnight sun. Drive the Ring Road or relax in the Blue Lagoon in Iceland, tour a castle in Denmark, go whale watching in Norway, or take a hike in the Koli National Park in Finland. Travel to Scandinavia and embrace the vibrant cultures and legendary Nordic traditions.
Great Britain
The United Kingdom includes England, Scotland, and Wales. Scotland is famous for its dramatic Highlands, the Edinburgh Castle, and the Lockness monster.
